Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias

COFAC is the entity responsible for the administration of Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (ULHT), the largest non-public University in Portugal, and 21 other Higher Education Institutions, both in Portugal and in other Portuguese speaking countries.

The University name comes from the word "Lusofonia" which refers to all the Portuguese speaking countries and their common linguistic and cultural background. COFAC and ULHT are the leading institutions responsible for the development of this geographical and cultural space with more than 200 million inhabitants

ULHT is an equal opportunities University with a current student body of 11,000 and 1,500 academic staff. The University is structured around 9 Schools that covers a wide range of knowledge areas. ULHT provides a variety of courses at undergraduate (48 programs) and graduate level (48 Master's and 8 PhD programs) along with several vocational and continuous training courses that promote life-learning development.
